Same-Day Emergency Dental Appointments

We try our best to see emergency patients on the same day, subject to availability. We can assist with injuries, severe toothache, or broken or knocked-out teeth. We can also help with damage to restorations (fillings and crowns) or other dental appliances.

If you have a dental emergency, please contact our office immediately. Our team will try to answer your questions and advise on what you can do to treat symptoms or reduce pain while you’re waiting to come to our office.

If your emergency is after hours, please call our office and listen to the recording for after-hours emergency contact information.

Frequently Asked Questions

We can sometimes save broken or lost teeth if you bring the damaged tooth to our office in time. If your tooth has been broken off, bring it with you to our office. If it has been knocked out, try to place it back in the socket. If you can’t replace the tooth, you can place it in your mouth between your cheek and gums or put it in a container filled with milk and bring it with you. Don’t attempt to clean the tooth or wrap it in a paper towel or cloth.

You can try over-the-counter pain medication to relieve bad toothache pain. You may also find relief from gently holding a warm or cold compress near the sore area for 20 minutes. Call our office if you notice bleeding or severe swelling or if you are having difficulty breathing or swallowing.

You should go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you are bleeding heavily, suspect you have a broken bone, or if you are feeling faint or having trouble breathing.
